Pokemon video game championships 2012 Houston My first time entering a VGC tournament. I trained and breeded, and caught mindlessly for the correct natures, and ended up with horrible IV's and last minute registration with minutes to spare for moves and Items I had to have six pokemon in my battle box for lock down for the entire event, and only four of them being somewhat useful and rushed with last minute move slots. Chandelure, Latios Hitmontop, gliscor and my last fillers just to register were amoongus and metagross both un-ev trained, and the only one with good IV's was latios. xat.com went two days without sleep, and powered by Hyper potions, but by all means it was sure as hell worth it, and hopefully i'll actually have time to get a better team with better IV's and and a fully EV trained team for nationals. Coming back from the tourney I have gained a huge respect for the people that breed and do everything correctly like RNG and breeding like crazy. Double battles a! ren't something i'm very used too, but I learned one very important thing... bring protect.. lots and lots of protect!
